GEN. YERIMA MAHMOUD ABDULLAHI (Rtd) Chairman
He is a disciplined and well focused gentleman with many parts of admiration. As a soldier, he served his country meritoriously and rose to the peak of his career. He attended Nigerian Military School, Zaria between 1970 and 1974 then he proceeded to Nigeria Defence Academy (Regular Course 17). He was commissioned at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (UK) on the 18th June 1977. He attended numerous courses in Military and Civil. In 1981, he attended Ordinance Officer Basic Course, Armament and Ammunition Technical Officer Course (India) 1982, Roland Missile Course (France) in 1983, Test Engineer Course. Nigeria Army School of Military, Markurdi (1984/85). Material Management/Works Study Course-Nigeria Army Ordinance Corps Training School, Lagos (January to March 1983) He attended both Junior and Senior Staff Course in 1983/84 and 1993/94 respectively. He was a member of Course 11, 2002/2003 of National War College.
In civil, He holds Applied Science Degree Course (UK) at Royal College of Science, Shrivenham (1979-to 1981), a Master's Degree holder in Strategic Studies from University of Ibadan, 2003 to 2004. His dutiful nature accorded him opportunities to hold several appointments amongst which are: Adjutant Central ammunition Depot 1981, Ammunition Tech Officer, 1982, Instructor Nigeria Army Ordnance Training School 1984 to August 1986, Corps General Staff Officer 2, Nigeria Army Ordinance Corps, Commanding Office 1 Base Ammunition, He concurrently served as Staff Officer 1 logistic ECOMOG Headquarter and Staff Officer 2, NIGCON, ECOMOG between November 1990 to August 1991. Directing Staff Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) Jaji. From 1996 to 2006, he served in different capacities in Nigerian Army. From August, 2006 to January, 2007, he was the Director of Administration at Defence Headquarter (DHQ). He was the Commandant of Nigeria Defence Academy from August 2008 to August 2010. He retired from service as the Chief of Training and Operation at the Defence Headquarter in 2012.
He is a recipient so many awards and honours amongst which are Force Service Star (FSS), Meritorious Service Star (MSS), General Service Star (GSS), Distinguished Service Star (DSS), Fellow National War College (FWC) and Corps Medal of Honour (CMH). His Military background and sound business acumen are among numerous success keys of Hotel Seventeen where he is the Chairman.
VIVIAN SELLY (B.Sc. Public Admin) General Manager
She is a graduate of University of Abuja where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Public Administration, National Diploma Holder in Accountancy from Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna. She has over 12 years of cognate working experience in Hospitality and Hotel Management. She started her career in hospitality as an Account Clerk in Nigeria Air force (NAF) Club; subsequently she rose to the position of Credit Control Officer in the same Organization from 2000 to 2006. She was promoted to the position of Duty Manager in 2006 and Hotel Manager NAF Clubbing 2007. She was transferred to Budget 5 Hotel in Kaduna as the Hotel Manger where she had a brief stint. Equipped with the past working experience in hospitality, she was again transferred to Benue Hotel, Makurdi where she was appointed the General Manager from 2009 to 2011 and Group Public Relations Officer before joining HOTEL SEVENTEEN as General Manager. She is responsible for formulation of strategic and functional polices of the company. She also directs the day to day activities of the Hotel.
